Hi Lana,

Ive posted a couple of photo's of our friend although after he see's them i don't think he will want to talk to me again.

Just got home from Caboolture KC, whippets were judged by breed specialist Mrs Ruth Collicutt (Tasmanina).

Bitch CC, BOB(18 points) & Best Australian Bred in Group was Whittaker's CH STATUESQUE SCARPETTA

Reserve Bitch CC & Junior of Group was Whittaker's NODUBL POISE N IVY

Dog CC was Whittaker/Pieterse's STATUESQUE IDLE GOSSIP

Reserve Dog CC was Shaw's CH DEVINE THAT'S MY OPINION (Imp NZ)

Baby In Show was Whittaker's NODUBL SEND A SIGN G/S Judge Mr H V King (SA).

I handled Dottie (GRAU GLITZ AND GLAMMA) to 1st place in the Qld Classis Heat judged by Mr T Collicutt (breed specialist).

I don't know who got R/UBOB and I left before Gen Specs was completed as it started to rain so don't know if anymore whippets went through.

What a day for Lisa huh? :) Well done for the Classic Kerry!

Yesterday the same show was Cara's (Aslan My Cherie Amour) debut with my mum and although she showed well at the champ show she was beaten by Grau Glitz and Glamma in the class (did you handle her then too Kerry? ) However at the open show she was best puppy in group, so my ma was happy with that. Add to this my DAD (not really known for his handling abilities) took Best in Group at the Open Show with their Dalmatian, Ch Swiftgait Just the Fax. Needless to say, Pappy is very chuffed with himself at this point in time! :D

:b Yes I did handle Dottie in class, sorry about that Lana but Cara looked rather nice outside the ring but I didn't get to see her move as I always concentrate when I'm in the ring. Lana I really like your mum's older Dally boy  "Pharoh" I think!!

I feel like Sinderfella. Having my hair done tommorow. After many monies I am off to the "Spring Fair" in Sydneyland this week-end. Entered in Class 18c :sorcerer:
Well.... while Cartman was swanning around the big smoke last weekend..... I was dripping wet at Bulladehlah... a 2hr distance Nth of the Big Smoke with The Undresser, formally known as Skyeway Sunset stripper.... now AUST CHAMP Skyeway Sunset Stripper. Finished off her titile with a Group 1 and Runner Up Best Exhibit in Show

 Not without some complications I might add.... back injury sustained by myself loading the trolley into the back of my 4 Wheel Drive.... all better now with some help from a couple of handsome Physios :p ... and a nightly tipple of anaesthetic :teehee:

have a look at my Website "Whippet page" for a pic of The Undresser

Hi all

Haven't been online for a while because we've been so busy - firstly getting Electra the Wicked Whippet (BIS/BISS Ch Ridgesetter Fly the Flag ET) ready for her trip to the US which went off without a hitch. Although Phoebe did e-mail me to ask whether it was normal for her to not appear from under the bedcovers until 9 am ALL the time - told her to tell the Princess to stop being LAZY.

And just 10 days after her arrival she made her US show debut - first day she won the Open bitch class, second day Winners Bitch/Best of Winners AND a 3 POINT MAJOR (yahoooooooo), the next two days she placed 3rd both times. I am so proud of her - even though all the placings around her changed each day she was consistently there. And lots of nice comments from Whippet people there.

The other issue we had to deal with was Charlie (Ch Tezer Feel Free To Stare) who had done so well over the National/Melb Royal & NSW Specialty, having a run in with a kangaroo. He had the inside of his off show rear leg opened up and a couple of other skin tears, thankfully the vet on duty over the weekend in question was the surgical specialist at our surgery and she did a fantastic job of repairing the muscle and then moving a flap of skin from his belly and turning it down his leg. There is obviously scarring to resolve but in four weeks his recovery has been pretty miraculous. And he came out Friday night at the Sighthound Club of NSW show and took BOB. He also placed 2nd at both Spring Fair shows.

Oh and thanks for the congrats on my young Ridgeback male - that was his title as well at 14 months :)) ))

Congrats to everyone else for their wins over the past few weeks & it was good to see you relaxing ringside on the weekend Cartman :)) )))

Big congrats to "THE UNDRESSER" on her title and RUBIS - way to go. And can I get the number for the physios??????? Is it worth the drive up from Canberra?
