We had a lovely couple of days in Shropshire when we went over to collect the keys off our tenants who have moved out. Our house was looking good and we've decided to keep it, update the kitchen, and re-let it. So here's some pics.

We stayed in a lovely B&B for the night and it was a clear, moonlit night.

Early next morning and the mist was hanging over the river Severn.

I think Muffin's heard something here, but I don't know what!

Looking through to the dining room, which is a little bit small, but sufficient.

I love those first few views, stunning moon and beautiful mist, I love it when it does that...the boys look to be enjoying exploring, its very different to a vicarage - looks cosy

The kitchen which is desperately in need of a bit of a makeover before we re-let the house, but it's a nice size.

Then we went to visit an elderly friend who loved our old whippet, Josh, and often looked after him if we were away for the day.

Getting to know Jonah.

One of my favourite places - Highley station. I used to enjoy watching all the steam trains pulling in and out.

Gladys is a friend who was Churchwarden at the church we belonged to when we moved to Shropshire - this is before Richard went off to Vicar college! She became really fond of Josh after her dog died, and we always make an effort to go and see her when we're over there - which unfortunately is not very often. She is diabetic, but has lots of other problems now (she must be close to 90), but is always cheerful. :D A really lovely lady. :huggles:
