a debate has risen on another board, about the accuracy/inaccuracy of greyhounds porteyed in a movie hunting wild boar.
now, I think it highly unlikely - it is a big powerful animal - surely a greyhound can't just take it down and it wouldn't run away either to be chased and tired out.
and then I started to think about salukis and gazelles - I read that the saluki would run it down and the huntsmen then take care of it. or does it actually kill it?
and what about the russian wolfhound? how did they hunt the wolves?
have had no luck finding information online.
