its friday so i have ventured into the dangerous territory which is the 17yr olds school bag for lurking letters (w00t)
amongst the various its of unmentionables i retrieved a soggy a4 envelope , in which was a letter from the Young Writers Guild, to ask my permission to publish a poem written by my son Thomas, yes he is 17 but as many of you know he is severly disabled with learning disabilities and also has a life threatening illness, so this is an amazing acheivement
here is his poem
MY DOGS
i love my dogs, they are kind to me
they are soft and furry
i stroke my dogs and look after them
i take them for a walk
i feed them and wash them when they are dirty
they like to chew on ones and play chase with a stick
i rush their fur and take care of them
they are called Sophie Mabel Sass Blue and Eddie
I LOVE MY DOGS!
