Great Pics again lloyd. I have moved up to a canon 350 but so far most of my pics are a bit dull, and look a little grey. It has been very poor light in the last few weeks so I dont expect them to be like summer shots. I have been anything from 400- to 1600 ISO to get the shots in as light was realy low. The lens I have used is a 80-200 EF not the fastest, I know but I think it is this lens that is giving me the dull looking pics. What lens are you useing Lloyd as most of your shots look nice and bright, or is the sun always shineing when your out with the camera. I am ready to buy a new lens but so far i am not sure what to buy, any help would be most helpfull.

Thanks Scotty. ( Peter Scott)

The sun was shining, well you know what they say about the rightious :p You could do with a 200 or so zoom lens that can go up to a f2.8 aperture which allow for faster shutter speeds in low light conditions. The lens I was using on the last lot of photo's was a Sigma APO DG 70-200 F2.8 EX, good value for money I think. I mostly use the shutter speed priority setting on the camera which works out the apeture automaticaly and use the fastest shutter speed possible, also I adjust the white balance manualy depending on the colour of the dogs (easily done on the Nikon D70). There are so many settings possible on digital slr's I think it's mostly a case of trying different settings and taking loads of photo's untill you get it right.

Hope thats of some help........Lloyd
