could anyone tell me the original breeding of these italian greyhounds.how they became the dog they are today ? (just out of interest)
 
i found that really interesting,

ucannothandlethetruth, it said that igs were mixed with toy terriers to get make them smaller, then mixed with american igs to give them their head shape, well thats how i read it anyway :b

I think everyone should introduce themselves - not necessarily have to give personal name but some info. As you say more than one account is against the rules, but in any case it's nice to know who is speaking.

Re: IG's, aren't they supposed to be an older, more historic breed than the whippet?

ive seen pics of iggies and iggy lookalikes in medieval paintings owned by the medicis in italy
