In my opinion when this post was put on this site it was for the same reason that others who have had matings have done so to let other fellow racers know but I have to ask why did these posts on this topic turn into a joke. Sophie is litter sister to racing whippet's (Stop It,just to mention one but mentioned on this topic) who so far in my opinion have proved themself's to be open class okay they might not win all the time but they are there or there about's and I for one can't wait to get a dog pup if she (Sophie) has one. I for one can take a joke but at the same time I feel that this could be seen as having a go at the stud dog if the breeder sell's the pups to racing home's let their new owners and the dogs have a cance of proving themself's before (indirectly) passing the pups off as raffle prizes. Maybe we should ask why Shophie is not being raced because if she can run as good as she look's she would take some beating I think I know why but I won't say as I don't own the bitch. If you wan't to start a slagging match start another topic I for one don't take kindly to my wife's stud dog's pups being slagged off (indirectly) before racing give them a chance (if the breeder sells them to racing home's) to prove themself's. Debate is good for the sport if it improves it but slagging of the breeding (even if a person does not fancy it after all it's only their opinion) only puts off people breeding never mind getting involved in whippet racing.AndrewPocket said:they are good raffle prizes deb (w00t)
