hi john i think Andy was having a joke with Debbie, as master tornado tried to line stop it the other night, not that she is getting mated, its the first time he has shown interest in a bitch and deb said it as a joke because i put stop it out of the way of Zack , Andy was having a dig at Debbie and me for a laugh im sure he meant no harm in it and was not directed at you or Sophie and Robbie ,i for one hope its a good mating as you know we bred Sophie along with your own Ricky and stop it who are running pretty well ,good luck with the pups im sure it will be a very interesting mating as blood lines on both sides are excellent .

Hi Gaz,

No problem Gaz,but I am a bit miffed that a thread that is about a mating has been turned into a joke (no other thread about breeding on Non Pedagree Whippet Racing has been I think). I am quite sure that if you felt that your bitch was being slagged off (directly or indirectly) you would say so but I for one will not stand for Robbie being slagged off (indirectly) as in my opinion his track record and breeding speak's for itself. He has won (and lost) against some great dog's in his weight group,sometimes he has been lucky (we all have been at sometime) and sometime's he has been unlucky (I could go into detail but that would sound like sour grapes) but that's racing,and as we say it's all on the day. Robbie in my opinion is a up and coming stud dog who will offer something different (blood lines) from other stud dogs and by insuating that Sophie's litter sister's pup's could potiently be raffle prizes and by drawing Robbie into this (indirectly) I for one do not find that funny. As I said I like a joke but I would not like to think that I would ever (wether it be directly or indirectly) put someone off using a stud dog after all it should be the breeder's choice wether they use the stud dog on it's record not something (directly or indirectly) posted on this site. I would also like to say sorry to Sophie's owners you do not have to defend her as she is an excellent bitch you should not have to read this and I accept that you may not have taken it the way that I have but I feel that I have to post this and I look forward to the day that I pick up the dog pup (if she has one).
 
i am catrina sophies owner the reason that i don't race sophie is because i do not want her getting any injuary from raceing but i like to keep al my dogs fit as i can and sophie is a fast bitch and i think that if i did race her she would have a grate chance. when i got sophie matted it was to camb down but also for the history of the her father and i take it from the raceing history from her mothers side but cannot comment on that one as i do not know what kind of raceing that they have done and at the end of the day you canot tell what is going to come out of any litter and how the pups will perform. susan and john know how much al my dogs mean to me with out going into detal i i would like to thank both of them for all the help. i fell that ricky has proved himslef as well as anyother dog.

jean is only the name on k9 who is my mother but it is me catrina that how owns sophie and i will be the one that makes all the desishions if they go to raceing homes or pet homes.

p.s i do not want sophie to become a slaging match so please open a new topic if you want

as gary says this was not mean,t to upset anybody, and i do appologise for this, it was merely a joke as gary has stated between me and him, i do think when the time is right they would make an ideal couple(but not now) NO WAY WAS IT MEAN,T TO SLUR YOUR DOGS AS THEY WERE NOT MENTIONED, i hold a lot of respect for susan and her family and do not want to upset them by no means, Guess who, in my opinion will make a very good little stud dog as we definately need more his size and stamina which he has well proven, again my apologies sue and john

to john im sorry if ive have affendid u in any way yet the joke was not made at u or guess who the joke was between me n debbie as u no we are always havin a bit of friendly banter on k9 plus i to used to race against guess who and no he has it all there to be a good stud dog

Im sure Sophie looks gorgeous anyway - bet the pups are gorgeous too with Robbie as dad. :wub: Good luck girl with those puppies.

No problem, I hope that you's see where I was coming from, but I have to say I have enjoyed reading your banter on other thread's and as far as I am concerned keep it up as it's nice too see people having a laugh and you's are right up for that (Bay City Roller's and The Spice Girls English Derby 2005) I only wish I had the gut's to dress up like that maybe next year :thumbsup: . Enough said I rekon, subject closed have a safe, succesfull and injury free racing this year and alway's :cheers: .
 
Sophie got her last scan tonight. The vet said 4 pup's :D and all is well. She is due on the 14th.
 
what colour do yous think sophie pup will be :cheers:
 
Judy off the board is the best person to ask - she's V good on colours
 
white parti colours and the odd fawn, Sophie's mum is pure white and her dad fawn ,crossed with guess who, this should be a good bet :cheers: :cheers:

Would expect you could get just about anything couldn't you? Doesn't guess who have a fair bit of blue behind him too?
 
Yes , Guess Who has 3 litter mate's who are blue, so maybe a blue/ parti.

Sophie is doing very well,,Peter, Jean and Cat,,,can't wait, nor can Rachel :lol:

I hope she can fill the order book as she need's 5 to keep eveyone happy :D .

once susan has picked her dog pup if their is one then i will decide what i want to keep myself. who ever is intrested in sophies pups then can you PM me as i see that their some people wanting to have a pup
