Since we've been back from the beach Kaya has developed a poorly

eye..................she's squinting and it looks red :(

I would imagine she has some sand in it.............any suggestions

on what to do to help ease it.

We have a appointment with the vet on friday, its Sada's booster

time and i taking K along so she can be weighed and checked over

while im there.

If i can help her eye look better i will leave it till then but if its still

the same tomorrow im going to have to bring the appointment

forward

Have you had a look to see if theres any sand in Ann, does it irritate her, scratching, try wash her eye out with tepid water, wont do any harm :luck:

mine usually come off the beach with sand coming out of their eyes for ages after, but they never have a reaction towards it so i wonder if shes either got a scratch from something or maybe conjunctivitis so best getting her checked ann :huggles:

I've gently bathed it and she didn't make a fuss, she's

feeling sorry for herself though.........look :(

She look rather p****d there Ann - r u sure she didn't pinch your drink!

I would wash the eye out with cooled boiled water and check on it in the morning. If you get green or yellow gunk then take her to the vets.

Oh bless her heart, I hope it gets better soon.

I would just keep bathing it unless it is causing her lots of discomfort.

:huggles:

Hope Kaya's eye is better :luck: :huggles:

Thanks everyone :)

Kaya's eye looks loads better today, i've just been bathing it in

tepid water.............the redness has all gone and her eye just

looks a bit watery. There is no discharge at all.

She doesn't seem to be in any discomfort,

she let both my daughter and my sister bathe it with no fuss

today, while i was at work.

So im leaving her tonight and the vet will check it tomorrow

when i take the girls over for their appointment
