after this years NNWRF CHAMPS the owner of this venue hasa offered it to us on a permanent basis to run on whenever we wish, we have been given permission to erect a permanent fence along the track and do what we want with the running track (this of course will be at our own expence)

in order to take up this great offer and make make it a viable prospect we feel it needs to be used more and wheels are now in motion to get it up and running as a club this will hopefully enable us to improve the track as we go along for 2010 NNWRF CHAMPS, arrangements have been made for groundsmen to cut and roll the track asap after 6th Sept after which a temporary fence will be put up and we can get started,

it is hoped this club will run in con junction with the other 2 North West clubs Lancaster and A/T Miners

We are on the lookout for a petrol mower and some sort of storage for traps/lure if anyone knows of anything

will keep you posted everyone welcome

Its not easy to get venues that can accommodate these big events so all being well if everything goes to plan this will be the venue for future NNWRF weekend camping events i.e champs and easter classic

is the track going to be over seeded. might help if it was moved over a few yards,is it the golf lads doing the work?????

could be a spot on track :luck: :luck: :luck:

thats brilliant news a permanent track 4 the fed champs and weekend events. great.

IVE NO OBJECTION TO THE VENUE OR TRACK WHICH WILL OBVIOUSLY BE MUCH IMPROVED WHEN ITS FENCED OFF AND HAVE A BIT OF TLC.

MY ONLY CONCERN IS THE FACILITIES FOR CHILDREN I UNDERSTAND THAT WAS THE MAIN COMPLAINT.WE MUST ENCOURAGE FAMILYS TO COME RACING AND CATER FOR THERE NEEDS.I HOPE IM NOT ALONE ON THINKING ABOUT THIS.
