Unfortunately the frogspawn I found the other day was a bit frozen over this morning - will it survive - I wonder, I do hope so. :luck: :luck:

Heres some pics from our walk.

Lovely pictures Janis, the boys looked like they had a great time :D They are so good around the sheep as well

I used to live with a garden backing onto a field that was always full of sheep and it was great as I always walked them in it and they are good as pie now (even Archie  ) I'll have to get little Miss Peggy-Sue used to them now I suppose!

Love the frogspawn too, years since I have seen any!

Lovely piccys Janis.Hope the frogspawn will survive

lovely pics janis  ,youve got some very nice walks,i hope the frog spawn will be ok :b

Janis what the devil is in the picture with the frog spawn? I cant decide if it is a swan's head or a whippet's nose or something totally different? I think it will survive as we have some in the woods opposite us and the same thing happened last year - the 'jelly' seems to protect them well. I love baby frogs (remember if you kiss them they might turn into a prince 8) :teehee: )

Still very impressed at your good boys with the sheep .

Yes Rae..........

what on earth are you on today..... :- "

I spotted loads of frog spawn on Cadair Idris (mountain in Wales) yesterday. Quite high up, so quite a bit colder at that level. It's so early this year...I hope it'll be OK too

I am envious of your boys' good behaviour around sheep. Can I send mine up to you for some schooling? :p Fred goes beserk round sheep...he gets so excited and whines to chase them  He's taught Stan the same thing. It's such a bind not being able to let them off when I'm on the moors and walking through fields :(
