I met up with a friend who I haven't seen for years recently. She now lives in Leeds with her husband, is a keen outdoor person like myself, and unbeknown to me owns a beautiful ex-racing greyhound, called Mischa.

We met up near Leeds last weekend for a walk and a natter. We had a really nice day, so i thought I'd post some photos.....

Stan and Mischa...Stan looks as cheerful as ever! :- " You can see Studely pike in the distance, our destination point....

I'm not sure where Mischa's coat is from. I'll try and find out. It certainly looked lovely and warm, and Gortex is brilliant stuff. Really lightweight, but very windproof. :thumbsup:

Hi Julie, I decided that as the OH was at home sleeping off the night shift, Fred would be better off snuggled up in bed next to him keeping warm. I do hate leaving him (Fred that is ) at home on his own (I shouldn't really over exercise him on long walks), so he comes along more often than not. :- "

You're right Fiona, it suddenly turned really cold that afternoon....but brooding weather days make good photography days, so I was pleased I was out in the hills :thumbsup:
