We would like to say an enormous thank you to the Scarborough family for making this Open possible, having gone to the track at least once every day last week to water it & on Saturday three times, also sunday morning before racing.

It must have been the best running surface in the country as every where else in this area is scorched.

Green grass & damp ground was what we found.

A HUGE WELL DONE TO ALL THE COMMITTEE, and all the runners for taking part.
