Have attached a couple of pics of Stan Silkstone Ensign over D) taken last week

One is his serious, grown-up muscular pose, the other is the retarded look :p

Hope they make you smile!

I love the 'retarded' look!! My Stanley has some very similar poses, serves us right for calling them Stanley I guess!!

I love the other picture though, such a handsome lad and yes very grown up now

The ears one did make me smile :)

Stanley is very handsome and the black and white picture is gorgeous

Thank you - I'm trying to get "into" canine photography. I think sometimes it's nice to try and get something a bit different that your bog-standard show pose, but the dogs aren't always that willing!

Thank God for Photoshop!

Louise

PS, yes, I much prefer black and white

Really nice pictures - love the black and white ones

ah, thanks Louise, they did make me smile  :)

and they've made my heart melt a bit too, lovely pics of lovely dogs

they're all great photos, you've got a model in the making

Your black & white photos are really stunning ...and as for the 'ears' piccy it's so cute!!  Stan was obviously leaping about listening for bunnies in the hope of getting a chase!!!

Love the grown up Stanley pic - very handsome lad.

Great pics, especially the one with the ears.

Really nice pictures,I especially love the blk & wh ones there is something about blk & wh photography that makes it just stand out that little bit more.

Love his "ears" shot too!! ;)

The are both beautiful photo's  He just looks so happy and carefree in the coloured photo

I think B&W works so much better for dogs, particularly short-coated breeds like ours. I was quite disappointed when I found out the biennial was all in colour this time.

Thank you all for your kind comments. I'm hoping my photography "hobby" may progress further in the next couple of years. I've been grooming dogs for a living for 18 years, and my back and knees are finally telling me it's time to be thinking about giving it all up. I'd love to think I could possibly make a living from photography. (especially dogs, but my second passion is cars, and they keep still when you want 'em to!)
