Stud Dogs

Definately!!
Bobby was a cracking dog! Think one of the only dogs i saw who held off north to south once it got level with him!

The pups from the mating to dazzyln ann have done well also! Only thing is he is quite big might put some ppl off, and like Vicky said before he was pretty much the only good dog from his litter! Altho the mating to his Dam before produced midnight boy and his litter mates, which in turn has produced Two faced when mated to ballystorm.

I hope he does get used  more!

as you say in your post jade he is quite big (27lb) that's only a 1lb heavier than wor john(he's getting the bitches) when they graced the tracks up and down the country.

a lot of bigger dogs will not get used because the majority of whippet racers want small dogs, thats why the format of racing as to be changed from yd/lb to 2ft/lb then the bigger dog might get used at stud bit more.

there was another racer in midnight runs litter that did race now and then jackson he did produce ragtime blue sadly he either got stolen/escaped or lost 2 year back now.

id love mickey whizz to b used as a stud dog but i suppose @ 50lb he wud b too big? mind i am thinking of using him on crackin whizz artificial of course. his father mickey mouse and his grandfather crazy cracker so who knows wot size we wud get?

I'd like to see some of the bigger dogs used more, fantastic example is Hellbound going to trouble spot threw tiny little 16/17 lbers, so shows you never know what your going to get!

One's Blue too doesn't have his tackle, which is a shame as he is fantastically bred!

I know Morpheous doesn't have his 'tackle' but i think 2 for one does! So lets hope this makes ppl tink of using him to carry on the 2 become one and one o one line.

We own One's Blue Too.s litter brother who unfortuntely broke his knee cap as a youngster weight 23/24 lb who has sired 3 litters of pups to lurcher bitches, we would consider putting him to stud to the right bitch Sue

It's baffles me that this thread died a death, it is something that concerns everyone at some point and you'd think a lot more people would have had an opinion on it.

I know of one dog that got mentioned and has been used since

I obviously know that Red Reign's 1st litter (3 of 4) will be racing next year. I'm looking forward to seeing them run. And, as Gary will tell you his mother has an interesting background. So, I hope the young 'uns go well, cos if he ran straight on the straights he beat some good dogs, and was also pretty handy on the bends. But, I have to say other than Tom no one has shown any interest in using him. Maybe, I need to be at the track more often...eh, Gary??

:D :D

Was thinking of putting Boots McPocket up to stud but since he hasn't won as much as his mam sasparella, dad wor John and brother rhyme n reason don't think people would use him. Was once told people will only use a dog that won all the time. Personally I think its the breading not what the dog runs like.

we,ve got sup,n.ch,rch desperate dan 31lb and his grandfather is tyrone but still we wait for bitches too big is the phrase wev,e heard a lot of,and sup.n.ch/r.ch son of a bitch 40lb lined only one with him born free and the same phrase was used a lot with him we would have loved a pup from danny but its never going to happen shame really.like you said most people scared, but tyes last pups wernt massive.dannys litter brother & sisters were all under 25lb he was just a one of as some are you never know what you going to get. :)

hi shazza u shud put him up 4 stud u just never know. heck ive got mickey whizz on here but i doubt very much he wud get used like joe says its to do with size a lot. i was goin 2 line crackin whizz with him artificial like but im scared incase pups r too big 4 her too pass cudnt care less if they ended up scr dogs but scared incase she had 2 have a c section. people do look @ the breeding a lot too. c midnight run as a stud dog is very underused imo look wot he won but how many bitches has he had? not many. i cudnt use him on kez they r both from cracked it and very simliar way bred as hes from starlight dawn which goes back 2 new dawn shes from cinnamon which also goes back to new dawn. personally i wud put him up 4 stud saying who his parents r brothers r etc u just never know shazza. good luck if u do put him up :luck:
