here's my little 2 having to rough it - they only had 3 quilts to keep them warm, they were denied having even 1 whippet to share :(

If I could I'd get up there and turn on the sunshine every day for Zoomie and his pals... although now he wears sunscreen on his nose and ears :b
 
if you can't find a decent dog to lie on, you could always try putting a child in it's parent's bed and have a go at sleeping on that, it's less hairy than your favourite sleeping dog and it won't let you bite or threaten it, but it is good at propping you up in a reclining position -_-
