Tam is not right this afternoon. He ate his brekkie and had his tea around 4pm, but he has been quiet all day. Just half an hour ago, while Ricky was playing with his squeeky toy's, he never batted an eye. He would normaly go right over to him and start to play. He seems deflated now. I took him into the back garden but he was not wanting to play, just walk around. I just had him back out a few min's ago and he has now got diarrhea. He is again sleeping next to me on the PC.

He has never been ill.

Poor wee Tam, has he had too much sun, or eaten something he shouldnt ??

Hope he feels better soon, keep us posted.

Big hugs and Kisses from me and Mummy Buffy :huggles: :huggles:

awww poor Tam :huggles: sounds like he's got an upset tummy :huggles: hope he feels better soon!

:( Poor Tam hope hes feeling better soon.

Seems to be a few dogs just recently with diarrhea and sickness, must be some sort of bug :(

Sending :huggles: to all those unwell whips.

Poor Tam. It's horrible when you know they aren't right but dont know why or what to do to help.

Digger went 'perculiar' (spl!) last weekend, but he is 100% back to his normal self now.

Hope Tam is better soon

could be just having a "i cant be bothered day" or is that unlike him?

But it does sound as though he has a bug of some sort. :x

you just feel sorry for you dog when they do that...you just wish they could tell you whats wrong!!!

He still sleeping. If he goes down hill, eg, being sick he is off to the vet in the morning . I just hope he has ate something from the bin. The other 2 are fine.

There's been loads here in the past few weeks - even Austin was rough for a few days, pooing blood and a toilet-flushing tummy. All better now though, but it did seem a nasty one, left them feeling very yick. Keep an eye Susan, since he's still just a baby! Hope he's feeling 110% tomorrow :luck:

Poor Tam :( lots of :huggles: :huggles: coming your way. Hope hes soon sorted Susan :luck:

Tam is still not himself. He was up with John at 5am,,he did not want to eat. He came back to bed with me. He ate some chicken at 9am,,he is not being sick and he is not wanting out all the time for the toilet. I will keep an eye on him today,,he just getting pieces of chicken through out the day and see how he goes.

Its so sad to see him like this,,he normaly loopy and playing all the time.

The other 2 are fine. Robbie is just Robbie and Ricky is acting like a puppy just now, he is playing non stop.

Poor Tam- hope he is feeling better soon :huggles: :luck:

Sorry to hear that Tam is not himself.

Hope he gets better soon.

Big kisses from Byron and Macey xxx

Just back from the vet's. I found a worm in Tam's poo this morning :( . The vet is sure it's the worm's making him ill. He has been given the tablet in chicken and I hope to see a happier Tam tomorrow :) . If he not any better by Saturday he is going back to see the vet.

I feel terrible as a simple tablet could have kept my wee man healthy and happy, he was being wormed regular (sp) ,,,Just hope it is the worms and he is bouncing about and playing like a normal pup.

Thank's to everyone with their concern about Tam.

A photo of Tam today,,,he not a happy chappie yet :(

I have found that all the worming products on the market are not always effective. I tried most available here and would only use Drontal now. Also with a growing puppy it is very important to weigh them each time. It is almost impossible to guess their weight correctly. I know my 2 adults' weight is 9 and 11kg respectively, so when I was worming them last time I looked at Madelaine (5months old) and estimated her weight to be about 7 kg in comparison. Then I put her on the scales and she was also 9 kg, although she is not anywhere as tall as Callista but is more solid.

I would not blame one worm for your puppie's upset tummy, it would take lot worse infestation to make him sick. So watch him carefully, and if he does not get better go back to the vet. :luck: Hope it will not be necesary.
