That is Brilliant News  The only way is up Tam  :luck: :luck:

What a relief! :sweating:

He'll be OK now, I'm sure!

Archie had a thing last New Year like that, they bounce back very fast when they are young...What a fright it is though. Pig's ears are fine if it's what they want  :p

Glad Tam is home and recovering Susan . He;s a lovely boy   Here's to a full recovery

I'm so relieved to read Tam is on the road to recovery. He looks so much brighter than he did on his last pic. :huggles: :huggles: :huggles: Heres to a good nights sleep Tam and hope you just keep getting better and better

regards

Gina

I'm glad he seems better but I think I'd be holding off feeding him pig ears just for now. Keep his food fairly bland for a day or two. Pigs ears are really fatty.

all the best to Tam & you

Linda

We are off to bed now,,I took the pigs ear off Tam,,dont want him going down hill. He ate more chicken and had a small drink, so hear's hopeing he on the mend

Thanks to everyone,,,Im glad he is on the mend...Hope he is up for a game of football tomorrow   . I will be keeping an eye on him for a day or 2,,,pup's seem to be perky one minute and down the next.

He still has not passed worms,,so looks like it was a bug after all :- " :(

Love that pic of Tam with his Dad Susan  Glad he's feeling a lot better Jakey had something like that when he was about Tams age and perked up very quickly after he'd seen the vet  though he wasn't quite as poorly as Tam .

more :huggles: to Tam and you :huggles:

Pig's ears are definitely OUT.

Boiled chicken with over cooked rice, I would mix in bit of pro-biotic yogurt to restore the correct bacteria balance in his digestive tract. I would not give anything fatty or hard to digest, at least for couple of days, and then change his diet only gradually back to normal. Also feed lot of small meals and often.

I am glad he is bach home with you; best place for unwell puppy :luck:

Hi Susan - sorry I did not find this thread earlier but glad to hear that all has gone well for Tam - I agree with Lida to keep his food fairly bland for a couple of days, and don't give him too much heavy exercise in a hurry either. Just take it easy for a bit.

Hugs to you and to Tam. :huggles:

So pleased he's home and on the mend! :huggles: He'll be driving you crazy again in no time!

I did read that with the new wormers around these days, you wouldn't see any worms as they are broken down by the wormer. ILKC will know if this is correct.

:D Tam is looking even better today :D , he still not had a poo but Im going out with him all the time just to make sure he is OK :)) . He has had chicken for brekkie and he is getting 4 small meals for now  . He has lost even more weight but will put it all back on in time, no hurry just want him to keep improving and not to rush thing's :D . He had a little play time with his dad,,barking at him too ;) He had a very good night and slept on the bed with us :- " :- " .

Glad to hear Tam is feeling better, he certainly looks much happier in the photo with his dad. Keep it up, Tam and you will soon be running about again. Kiwi is in the mend too, after a day on electrolytes she is eating chicken and rice now.
