So pleased to hear that he is using his leg again...I know what you are going through and every breakthrough is worth all the effort you have put in....my whippet Rocket when he was parylised from a disc exploding in his back as he missed a step running had to have physio hydrotherapy we were also able to get the use of a full size dog swimming pool and that really made him use his legs but wore me out running the full circuit of the pool to get him motivated with his favourite treats...He now has wonderful quality of life stiil chasing anything that moves even if he does run at an angle......So please the pup has given a new lease of life.....Well done

That's lovely news about Tarka, glad he's improving, bless him. And how is your puppy coming along, too? Glad the new pup's given Tarka a new lease of life after his injury. Hope you're all doing OK and settled into your new house.

I haven't been on K9 much recently due to being poorly myself :(

But.........how wonderful to log on and find out about Tarka's progress!

It's made my weekend to hear that he's improved so much. Bless  :huggles:

Well done with Rocket, that must have taken alot of effort to get him going again. I am looking forward to the day I see Tarka running again :D

Thanks for all your lovely messages, I will be passing the hugs on to Tarka later when we have our evening snuggles!

I still haven't forgotten how kind you all were 2 months ago when it happened. You all helped us get through an awful time and I will always be grateful

Sorry to ramble on....!

Oh well done Tarka!

I have just filled up reading that, I am so pleased for you!

I am sure he will now be coming on in 'leaps and bounds' now that he is using his leg with confidence :huggles:

Oh that's such fantastic news... so happy for you and Tarka

That's fantastic news  I'm really glad he's enjoying the puppy, it was obviously just what he needed :)

Many years ago I had a great dane who had an op on his hip and part of his rehab was walking slowly up and down little hills (mounds really). It had to be slow and on the lead. Don't know if this will help Tarka, but may be worth a try

That is wonder news, well done to Tarka and well done to you. :luck: for a continuing improvement.

That's great - the whole story has moved me to tears - so proud of Tarka - doing soooo well!!!x

Well done Tarka - your brave and beautiful boy  Lots of us are following his progress, and this is great news........so pleased for you :huggles: for Tarka
