and almost never seen, Whippapotamus. I was fortunate to manage to just snap off these shots before it disappeared with a splash, leaving nothing but a trail of duckweed.......................and some traumatised tadpoles. :laugh:

those aussie whippets are special are UK ones run twice as fast if they think there might be water ahead (I do mean run the opposit way LOL)
 
They sure are special, it runs in the family, his sister runs across the surface, here she is crossing Bass Strait on her way to Tasmania.

love it :lol: some of mine like water but it as to be warm to tempt them in :D
 
my whiipet x iggy loves swimming absolutly loves it rivers ponds you name it. x :D
 
Fantastic pictures! I can't believe thats a whippet in these pics, my Penny would be horrified at the thought of doing that :lol:
 
Mojo hates water, i would love to see him swimming.

It was really hot yesterday, my dogs who also are not particularly fond of water do dip into the lily pond on days like that.
 
Wonderful pictures :lol: . On a hot day, when she has been running, Grace likes to wade chest deep into a pond or stream.
