Not said quite in that way & sorry but after signing countless of these petitions for many years, excuse me if i have lost just a little faith.

unfortunately i think youre right nina.the only way to get it through to them that this is totally unacceptable in this day and age is to hit them in their pockets.dont buy chinese imports and tell shopkeepers why.trouble is virtually everything we buy in this country is made in china.in the next decade they will be the world leaders in manufacturing.the chinese contingency at the trade shows we attend are getting bigger every year.(theres hardly any english manufacturing companies there any more, they cant compete with cheap imports)i dont know what the answer is.maybe educating the next generation? :(

I agree Kris, hit them where it hurts BUT as you say its difficult.

The Chinese Government wont listen to reason so what you have said is the only way forward BUT its a bit like a no win situation. :(

i watched a tv program about their ever expanding manufacturing wealth and it said they will hold the west to ransom in a few years.i wish i knew a way to get through to them and to the rest of the world that it upsets and disgusts the vast majority of the worlds peoples.do governments ever listen to us the people who put them into power?if the chinese government can flout human rights laws and treat their own people like they do (remember tianamen square?)then what hope do animals have? :( (its at times like this i get depressed and despair of an end to suffering) :'(
