We had an interesting day at the midland.
FIrstly I have to say that I am so thrilled with Nana for comming 2nd in the Simulated Coursing she had 5 brilliant courses and was very unlucky to be up against a huge dog in the final and its longer legs kept it tantalisingly just in front, but I am so incredibly pleased with her, she really gave her all.
Josie had qualified for the Champion of Champions, but missing one toe nail I didn't have much hope, but she got through the first cut only to decide, not having been lame on it once since she tore it out that she simply couldn't walk on it. I think standing still of 1 1/2 hours must have made it sore, poor girl.
But most excitingly we met lots of her family. As she's a rescue this must be quite rare, but as her breeder (who gave her to the rescue centre) sends rather a lot of other dogs in he is still in contact with the woman who runs the rescue  and was at the show and was able to point out 2 of her sisters from the same litter, and one from the next. He had also handed over her mother to the rescue and my friend who runs the rescue has kept her so we were able to get a big family picture.
Sisters
WIth Swifty, their mother

I was lucky enough to meet the exquisite little Fern (one of Alfyn's heavenly babies) who I did my best to kidnap, but with no luck, but I am totally in love.
Also Mally was extremely kind in helping me to buy a lamp so I can give the girls more work.
