Jonah's not too sure at this point.

A little bit more interested. :) (Please ignore the damp patch on the wall. We had a leak in the vicarage back in the summer which the diocese still hasn't had decorated for us :( - we'll probably have a go ourselves at the whole room in the new year. )

Definitely keep a close eye on proceedings.

Decides he'd prefer a game with Richard (he knocked his glasses off! )

Still wanting a game. :p I'm not sure where Muffin is in all this activity - on his bean bag in the hall I think - he's not interested one bit. :huggles:

The finished tree taken without a flash - definitely doesn't do it justice.

Last one taken with the flash - still not a brilliant photo. I think my Cardiff City bear-in-a-stocking rather spoils the overall effect though!! :b

Jonah is now banned from this room unsupervised as I'm not sure what would happen if we left him there alone!!! :sweating: (w00t)

great pics, he looks really interested in the tree and having fun. Your tree is beautiful!

 Awwwwe that's lovely made me feel all Christmassy now

oh i can just imagine the fun and games if he was left alone with that tree!baubles everywhere!

it looks lovely

I love traditional Christmas trees :D

It always reminds me of my childhood

That tree looks lovely, Gillian. Lucky you've taken damage limitation steps to protect it

That looks lovely Gillian..............nosey Jonah

and can you beieve Muffin lay on his beanbag and ignored it all.

Its always double trouble here, never one without the other

Bet Jonah could take it down quicker than it took to put it up :- "

Our tree has to go on a table as certain boys have to pee up every tree they find:oops:

Lovely tree Gillian! My tree is going to be on my chest of drawers out of harms (ie Bluebell) way!

Your Diocese sounds just like ours - they've finally done all the maintenance on our Vicarage whilst it's empty during the interregnum!

lovely to have a proper tree and its looking nice gillian...........carnt help but think how long it will take jonah to get in the room without you seeing and enjoy the tree a little too much (w00t)  i too am dreading ours going up..........oh i do hope they ignore it :b  :p

Aw what a fab tree

Sidney is more interested in the presents that the tree ... :sweating:

Thats a lovely tree Gillian. We put ours up 2 weeks ago (we were a bit miserable and wanted to cheer ourselves up!). The dogs aren't bothered about it for the most part but every now and then Lenny sticks his head in between the branches and just has a little look inside  I don't know what he's looking for, I've been thinking of hiding a treat in there when he's not looking so he will have a nice suprise the next time he looks :huggles:

Lovely tree   We put our up last night,Abbee is fastinated with the baubles

What a lovely tree. :)

Jonah is such a good boy wanting to lend a paw all the time and supervising proceedings :- "

I've decided not to bother with the tree this year, as it's just the two of us at Christmas, but I feel a bit ashamed at my lazyness now. :b One of our neighbours has a lovely Victorian bay window, so I just admire their tree instead as i go past :p

That`s brilliant  and made me want some of the same fun so am off to bring in our tree now. For 2 of our current 4 it`s their first Christmas so this should be fun and games !!!......

I think it's the nicest tree we've had. :) Making the most of the large room while we've got it. :- " There's no way I couldn't get a tree for Christmas even though there's just the two of us as well. I love my tree. :D I suppose we do have a few parties connected with church though so we try to make it look a bit festive!

looks lovely , Gillian, are we going to place bets on how many days it survives without the baubles being re-arranged by Jonah ? (w00t)

Still waiting for the "Tree is DOWN" headline  Come on Jonah - you're slacking :- "

Jonah is very hurt that you all think so badly of him and says he wouldn't dream of touching the tree and destroying all mummy's hard work! :- " (w00t) o:)

I daren't put a tree up here cos certain whippets - Logan, needless to say, a cousin of the devil whippet himself! - would bring it down again within seconds! (w00t) Mum and Dad have a real tree though and we spend Christmas guarding the tree and the pressies from being peed on! :- " Will be interesting to see what Daisy makes of it though. :sweating:

Lovely tree, Gillian!

Great tree Gillian... lovely pictures. We have always had a 7ft high eal tree until the last few years... :- "

Ive got 2 fibre optic ones...up high out of reach... but hopefully we will have the real tree back next year too... You cant beat them....
