At around fourteen hundred hours today a criminal mastermind infiltrated my kitchen and made off with approximately two ounces of mature cheddar :ninja:

Having just cut said cheddar into chunks I returned the packet to the fridge. My eye was off the chopping board for no more than sixty seconds but that was all the time required by such a professional thief ... not a trace of the cheese was left on the chopping board and, despite lengthy crime scene investigations, I have not been able to secure any evidence to suggest who the culprit might be.

There was one witness to the crime ... Blue happened to be in the vicinity and suggested that a cat burglar had made off with the cheese :charles: but on further questioning Hoshi (the cat) has an alibi ... he was out in the garden and several of the small birds he was menacing at the time can corroborate his whereabouts.

So, the case is still open and the cheese thief is still at large. :pirate:

Let this be a warning to you all ... you can never have enough security around your dairy products!

pmsl jill  there is NO way it could have been any of your guys far too well behaved for that you must have eaten it without realising shame on you blaming the pets

It couldn't have been Blue surely?????? He is such of a gentleman...never be him...but I'd question more closely that Hoshi

having studied the suspects photos ,i return the verdict not guilty to either of them ,i think one of the birds Hoshi was menacing flew in whipped the cheese ,without you noticing, how have i come to this conclusion ,a little bird told me :-

Must be aliens, there is no one else arround who could possibly have done the dastardly dee. :)

Thats really made me laugh - I put some bread in the toaster tonight, and sliced half a dozen slices of my favourite cheese ( Mexicana ), then the phone rang, and when I went back into the kitchen the chopping board seemed strangely 'clean' looking - my cheese had gone..............and slinking off to my bed was a little black whippet with her head down low - Willow  - I tried giving her a stern telling off but I just stood and laughed

Little cheese stealing monkeys !!!!!

I think Blue and Willow would be dangerous together !!!!

Mmmm Jill. looks like you need to lock

your doors a little tighter, the thief may

return...............

LOL

With a face like that..... you can't think Blue did it

I know what my pair are like when they see the cheese come out of the fridge and that I have to put the chopping board in the cupboard if I plan to walk a foot away from it.

Ben has started to help himself to carrots in the veg basket .... now have to keep it in the window

Im very sorry to hear what has happened...i know how you feel as we had a cheese thief here not so long ago.......quite a large chunk of cheese as well.................shocking :-

Oh I don't believe Blue would do such a thing :* someone else must have stuck in and eaten it

Had to laugh, especially at the bit about your cat's alibi ..... Whippets just love their cheese don't they :-

Hmmm, this is more serious than I thought ... it appears to be an organised crime ring

Beware - there are serial cheese thiefs on the loose in Scotland!!!

I've been searching the Internet for the most up to date model of the Acme Cheese Security Alarm but haven't managed to find one yet.

Do you think your informant would be prepared to come in and help to make up a photo-fit of the criminal? Or perhaps take a look at a line up? At the very least I'll need a formal statement!
