Whippet angels strike again , lucky boy

I am so pleased to be getting this little lad he looks just super and I am so gratefull to Jane and a huge thankyou to K atie who is fostering him for me till I get back in 2 weeks time you are both super people :D :D :D :D :D :D xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

i hope you have room for those ears in your house Sue :D

he is beautiful xx

looks all whippet, not part Italian greyhound. If the 10 year old "just turned up" with this pup I would be afraid someone might be missing Tyg. Apart from that concern, it's great to see him settled in a good home.
It is very odd, isn't it? I've been concerned about that too.

The ears are CUTE. (He will grow into them :) ) He has big paws for such a small skinny lad. If he is anything like Toddy, he will fill out and look beautiful. Tyg is only a baby. Toddy was the origional 'ugly duckling' . He has really come on in the past few weeks although he still has big ears. I blame 'Sooty Sam' every time :) . (At least you can be fairly sure of one of his antecedents).Tyg is a little sweetie and I am so happy for him to be going to such a wonderful home :)

What a lovely little chap, well done to all concerned and :luck: :luck: :luck: for a happy and healthy future for him.

we considered this on the way home, so we decided to stop at our vets to have him scanned, he is not chipped so if he was stolen i think it would be pretty hard if not impossible to find the owner,

dont know what more we can do :b

he is a handsome chap  ,lucky you sue ,having met you i know how lovely you are xxx well done to everyone in getting him a home

I'm really glad I'm not the only one who is thinking like this, dont get me wrong I congratulate everyone involved in this rehoming and I would have done exactly the same thing myself, I just dont want to see any broken hearts. If this situation is exactly as we see it now, sounds like the little chap is WELL OFF being out of there!

I checked all the dog lost sites on the internet and asked quite alot of questions about this boy before agreeing to buy him.

It has also crossed mine and Katie's mind that these people had bred him and he was the last one left of the litter ...... that would explain the rather far-fetched explanation that a 10 year old boy had just turned up with him.

I would appear that despite assurances that he was wormed, flead and vaccinated he probably has had none of these things :(

Whoever the people are and however they acquired him, little Tyg is well out of there

all these concerns also worried me to so will have him wormed and vaccinated when he arrives also have him chipped thanks for having him scannedKatie and keep a check on any money you spend on him so that I can pay you back

Update ..........

I spent quite a while last night extracting information from the young lad that had Tigger and, at the same time, I got to wondering about the other pup advertised in Sauchie, Alloa.

I am now positive that they are one and the same pup!!

The pictures in the Sauchie ad are from when Tigger was only a very young pup but if you compare them with Katie's pictures you will see that it is the exact same markings and, a dead give away, the same bed that has come with him!!!!

In addition to this, I have been told that Tigger was bred in Kirkcaldy by a chap called Brian and was ultimately given to the boy by a female friend. They have probably only had him a matter of a week or so as he was originally advertised as 15 weeks old in an ad placed 11 days ago so that makes him nearer to 17 weeks old now.

I shall continue my investigations by contacting the advertiser in Sauchie!!!!

well done jane,

good luck with your phone calls today x

A lovely story, Tgs is a real beauty, I bet he is feeling sooo happy to have found you all :)

Poor little fellow. He cannot know what a home is, being passed from pillar to post in his short life.

I am so so happy that he will have a proper home at last.

I did e mail the Alloa advertisers with the same contact details for Liz Third and Anette Skelley but got no reply.
