I have just read in tonights Edinburgh Evening News that a poor cat has been a victim of severe Cruelty that is just heartbreaking. The poor cat was found crawling through a residents garden in severe stress and pain. Some mindless yobs strapped a firework to it's back with masking tape and set it alight. The paper said it would have taken more than one person to hold it down and do this to the poor cat. It said it is a wonder it never died, what a mess it's back is with 3rd degree burns. They said the poor thing has a lovely nature considering what it has been through. They hope it's owners come forward to claim him, he is a young cat I would like to catch the scum that done this and shove a firework where the sun don't shine and set it alight.

Afew years ago ,in a place called New Buildings in N Ireland there used to be a wee dog that just ran about the streets with the kids.The kids always threw things, and the wee dog just loved to retrieve to them.That was until some lunatics,cause thats what they were,taped a bunch of bangers together and threw them for the wee dog to retrieve.I wont say what happened as its to disturbing to even mention,but he wasnt about for the kids to play with again..

Ijust want to say that i have 2 bitches at the moment who ere rearing pups one litter is 4 weeks and the other 2 weeks .Ilive in a new estate and tonight some of the houses had party's n fireworks.Well my daughter was keepin an eye on things as the big rockets n stuff were going off right above my garden.The next thing i know is she's shouting for me as one of the bitches was doin her nut because of the whole thing .She even tried to do a runner ,she was that terified.the other bitch was in that bad a state i thought she was going to kill her pups in an effort to protect them.Idont believe in these things as they are evil and should be completely banned.Even what people look at as a simple ,harmless sparkler,actualy resembles a torch carried by the pagons as the would make their way to what ever they got up to ,You 'le find all this if you go on the right websites eg Halloween stuff.

I live near to Newbuildings. It makes me mad to see people happily letting there dogs wander the streets when there are sickos like that around. Those people should have bangers packed into their own mouths and set off. :rant:

Fireworks should be banned. But the majority are being sold here illegially anyway. How can people do this knowing the distress these things cause, to people and animals. Not to mention the number of cases that land into A&E every year through injuries. How can they have that on their conscience (spl?) for the sake of a quick buck?

I think if you look into it the majority of Pagans are kind, peaceful people and have a great respect for nature and so on. No need to drag them down to the level of the idiots that get kicks out of randomly setting off fireworks!! o
