Is it Masticatory myositis Nicky? to do with the chewing muscles, my friend's springer had it and is doing great now, apparently quite common in whippets of about 2 years old.

How horrible it must be for you both. Don't whippy's just love to make you look a fool at the vets.

that the one clair (myositis) :b lol beinging with s :b well i remebered the sitis bit :b i dont think ther 100% shure to be honest clair ,but they think it may be that :unsure:

thanks for that clair iv been reading up about it and to me it dont fit she has no swellingof her face :wacko: or eyes ext ,wen she goes bk to vets tomoz im guna tell them i want some test done cause she had another bad night last night and i cant bear to see her in this much pain :( shes on that metcap stuff till then but it seems to wear of in the evening then she suffers all night and i cant bear it anymore so they either do sum test tomoz or il take her to another vets that will ,cause to me its cruel that shes left in pain like this :(

hiya dawn hun iv managed to get a short video of her when it happens soon as its uploaded il put it on have a look and see what you think pay attention at the very begining the way she holds her head wen she does it :(
