On another thread it was asked what the criteria the british Judges have to meet to be able to judge Whippets and award Challenge Certificates.
So not to side track that thread I opened another.
Judges have to meet a minimum criteria to Judge Whippets at Club Open show level before they would be even considered to award Challenge Certificates at a Championship show level.
I have copied a Breed Club show criteria to give you some idea of what criteria is needed.
This is a minimum and even on meeting the grade you will be placed on the Clubs list but this will not automatically mean that you either get to Judge a Breed club Open show or be invited to award Challenge Certificates.
Judging List Criteria.
LIST A1
The names of people who are supported by the Club to award CC’s in the breed and who are already approved by the kennel club.
LIST A2
The names of people who would be supported by the Club, if they were invited to award CC’s in the breed. The people on this list meet the criteria for A3 list and have already been assessed and approved y the K.C to award CC’s in the breed.
LIST A3
The names of people who would be supported by the Club, if they were invited to award CC’s.
