Took Sienna for her check up with the vet and physio last night, they are over the moon with her we were there an hour and a half and she was great did all they asked :huggles: and again no charge (w00t)
She still has problems with her right fore leg but the vet is very confident that this will right itself as he believes it is the trauma from her accident which has blocked the messages to that leg so she needs to relearn how to use it, but so far she has learnt how to use everything else so he thinks in time it will come and if it doesn't there are things that can be done to make it work again.
We asked the physio if it would help to support her leg slightly into a straighter position we didnt want to do it ourselves until we'd asked her incase it made things worse, she thought it could be good and gave us some tips to wrap up the foot and put a pressure bandage on the extender muscle to see if she would lift it when she walked instead of dragging it...and she did so we will do that a few times a day so she will get used to doing it
So what can she do now? well she can beat me in a race around the garden :b she can get up and down independentley and also jump on the sofa, she would be able to go further but she is dubious about the laminate so she will only go to the edge of the rug and we only let her walk and run outside on grass incase she scrapes her knee or she falls over although that is rare now, its all coming together
I have some videos but they are on my camcorder but I dont have a firewire port so when I get one I will share them
