Those two need to get a room  :huggles:

Hi Joanna, did any of us Northern lot win a rosette :) we had to go because of the long drive

I was SO stiff last night [in the JOINTS, before you all start!] and the whippy boys didn`t stir all evening.

Liz fell asleep in front of the box.

No ill efects this morning. Liz still hacking like a chain-smoker and dogs fine.

Congrats to Julia and her supersonic whippets

Gavin

The Northeners won loads of Rosettes, and some-one tok them for you! A lady with short curly hair and a red top???

We took a couple of short videos for those who didn,t make it to get a feel of the day. YOU'LL BE AMAZED HOW FAR THE DOGS RUN! I'll pop on the link later when I have uploaded it!

Hi Jo

Thanks for posting the pic of Digger  - he really enjoyed himself (not as much as Archie though ;) ;) We all had a very good day and it was great to meet you all. It was quite a coincidence that our dogs were teamed to run together.

Sorry, we didn't realise there was a presentation or we would have stayed longer to watch it. Hope to meet again soon.

As you said "what better way to spend a spring Sunday" :))

Deb

Cor - a rosette for Star :D - did every dog that ran get one? She didn't win though - she was second in her stake. Very very very pleased with her and *proud* never the less as it was her first race and it was a looooooooooong way, and she is a show bred not a race bred whippy- thank goodness she is fit!

She was totally miserable last night Jo - thinks she's missing Archie already :huggles:

FYI Judy & Nigel - Vader's second performance was just as impressive as his first :b he was racing...........himself...........and still didn't manage to finish :clown:  He will just not run with a muzzle on  Gary stood half way to pick him up and he didn't even make it that far  Bless him

Any more piccies anyone?

Hurray  Thanks for that joanna  i wonder who that lady was, i must find her quickly

We have hundreds of photos including the Vader :D :D

No not every dog got one, only if they got through and won a heat. Star was a runner up in the second heat. Later on, and tomorow probabl, I will get photos on here and the links to the video.

Esthermax, I have found a picture of the lady and will post it later. She had a red fleece on, brown wavy hair, 40's, trackie bottoms on with a stripe down. She had loads to take, but heaven knows how she will remember who they must go to. Hardly any-one was there for the presentation, only us die hards who live 20 minutes down the road

Archie is mising Star too. I am not, at least we haven't got to lok at his lipstick now

That sounds like Sue Hoddinott, who has Harry, Barney and Forest's litter brother (Feathers McGraw/ Bantam Cock).

Greeny probably asked her! :luck:

A very lucky and much loved young lady called Holly was treated to a new collar and matching coat. Here she is with Star :huggles:

And no, before you asked, that wasn't Josie, but Helen had to go and have a very close look to be sure. Josie came up in the next race, but here she is being polite and looking very serene :))
