Bracken & Meg have gone to their new home now, and although I know they are going to have a wonderful life I feel really upset :( it has made me realise I am not cut out to foster I get too attached, and I feel like I have let them down and they will think I didn't want them either :( :b I am so glad I did it for these two though to get them away from the alternative, and I hope once they settled in their new home they will forget any bad memories they have ever had, I curse that woman for putting them through this

Well if all goes well tomorrow Meg and Bracken will be going to a wonderful new home :D   :D   :D
I know that they will have a lovely, happy life in their new home and I am so happy, but sad too because I will miss them :(   :huggles: but it is better sooner rather than later so they don't get too settled here because it will be harder for them to move then

I will let their adoptive parents tell you their good news themselves, I know how you lot like to have a guess, and you know what for once it won't be me saying "IT'S ME"     :p

I would also like to say a big thankyou to them also for making a big donation back into the K9 fund    which has been a godsend for Meg and Bracken thanks to the kind people of K9 :huggles:

Meg and Bracken say  :huggles: THANKYOU K9 :huggles:

A true and geniune dog owner and lover you are Lesley, proud to know you

keith,

You daft doughnut Lesley. How on earth have you let them down. Seems to me they are both a pair of love sponges, you gave them love, and now they are going to get even more love forever

Well done girl, think of yourself as a little taster for their future and don't be put off doing it again :p

Well done Lesley , you`ve done a great job getting them a new home. I don`t think we would be good fosterers either :D

Just been speaking to Rebecca she asked me to update you while she is fussing the new additions and is tired after such a long journey :D

Rosie loves Bracken :huggles: :huggles: and Alfie wants Meg to be his girlfriend which of course she can't be fully because she is in season (w00t) but maybe afterwards :D

Meg is having a sleep in the crate because she is flirting with the boys :* although Alfie is laid next to it, Bracken is laid in front of the fire and Rosie is happy on the sofa :)

I feel better now they are home and getting settled  it wont take long before they will be settled, happy and secure in their forever home :D :huggles:

Hi Lesley, you most certainly didn't let them down. Meg would have been mated if you hadn't taken her and if you feel you are able to foster another time that will be even more Whippets you have helped. You can't keep them all but you have helped these two on their journey to their "forever home". That is something to be really proud of. :huggles:
