Gracie and Alamo's puppies (Venusta Alamo Flyer) were born Sunday morning (26th Aug). She had two dogs and two bitches. Mother and babes are all doing well. See pikkie.

Thanks to Hannah for seeing me through the ordeal. Gracie eventually had to have a caesarian section and was quite poorly afterwards. Both vets present at the birth were brilliant.

Great to see Gracie looking better :huggles: .......As for our vets .....wasn't that just soooo them :D ........with Ken deciding as he was up he'd help Marg ......made us a cuppa then got Amy (his wife) down to help puppy rub/clean/warm ......Talk about someone who really enjoys his job :D .......I must admit I enjoyed the hands on with the babies .....though Constance may well live up to her name .....Constantly on and on  ......Now Jas when you read this you want the little red brindle boy  .......Glad they all have homes btw .......We'll be able to see them around and racing

Gracie has taken to mother hood perfectly ......she's being a great mum .......We've seen the puppies today and they are doing really well ........ They have been vet checked and dew clawed with Ken our vet insisting he did this even when he was on his holiday/break :huggles: ........He's documented everything about the babes and when we turned up today Emma, Lucy and the other vet nurses had heard all about Gracie and her pups, so were all desperate to see them :D .........Emma said they were just as Ken and Marg had described them and she wanted the white girl as she reminded her of Miya  .........bless ...... We'll take photo's next time if Julia hasn't already :D

Thanks everybody for your good wishes. Here they all are. Top left is the smaller brindle boy, weighing in at 10oz. Top right is the brindle girl who caused the C-Section by lying horizontally. She weighed in at 14 oz. Bottom left is the larger brindle boy at 12 oz. Bottom right is the parti coloured girl at 14 oz. She looks just like her grannie Esther.

Ken, the vet, dew-clawed them - and didnt they sqwark. They have the loudest voices of any puppies I have had. Gracie is a fabulous Mum, now she is feeling better.

Will keep you updated as they grow.
