WCRch V.C ELOVADO
16/ 1/ 98 to 24/04 2011
We sadly had to say our goodbyes to our very much loved Alfie on Sat, after a short illness that got the better of him.
Alfie started his life in Potters Bar with Tony & Maureen Mitchell after the mating of their bitch Kim (Morton’s Delight) to our dog Tosh (Thatado) and the start of our long lasting friendship, like so many in whippet racing.
He was the most adorable puppy Sweet, Gentle, and Loving, as he was all his life. A true Gentleman.
Alfie was our first Champion and we will never forget the joy it gave us and a smile to last a week or more. Alfie went on to have a great racing career, with such a fantastic 6th year winning two Veteran Crowns, the Vet top 10 and the Vet superstars, it was after that we made the decision to retire him an injury free winner.
Alfie loved his holidays in Cornwall and his runs on the beach and was always up for a walk till the end of his days.
So we say farewell to our faithful best friend who will hold a place in all our hearts forever. We know that he has gone to be a whippy Angel as he will be so perfect for the job
RIP ALFIE BOY
