ooh...a new area of the Peak Park...and no sheep.
We spotted one of those etched seats near The Roaches a week or two back. It must be a new trend, because I've never spotted any before. :)

That's in the Peak Park as well isn't it?

Yes...just....it's very close to Leek.

We saw quite a few of those seats on our holiday but John was getting annoyed with me taking photos of everything so I stopped!!!

We've walked the other side a lot as some of it we can do from the house, but for some reason we've never ventured over the top to the Barnsley side until today. It only took us 15 minutes in the car to get there so I think I will do it again. Maybe we ought to meet sometime at the Penistone end.

Let me know when you are next venturing there on a Saturday or Sunday!

Lovely photos. It's a lovely part of the country you are in. We were talking the other night and said we would love to end up in the Peaks at some point

When we stayed at OH's parents house a few weeks back we went for a lovely walk around the Yorkshire sculpture park - very convenient as it's in their back garden - literally!

Beautiful pics and dogs!! The scenery is stunning. I'd love to take my girls to that neck of the woods one day

We went for a walk round Yorkshire sculpture park with Gillian a while back now. Its nice there but I was a bit disappointed that you couldn't have dogs off lead anywhere at all and dogs weren't even allowed where the sculptures were. It was also exceptionally windy the day we went, Muffin and Molly didn't seem too impressed!

I don't live far from there but its not exactly in my back garden :))

Ours were off the lead the entire time. We walked them right up where you first park - you might have noticed the alpaca's - that's my OH's Dads place

Ooooh you naughty girl, there is a sign saying all dogs to be kept on lead at all times

ETA. can't remember the alpacas though, I think I probably would've taken a photo if I'd have seen them!

I don't remember seeing any Alpaca's either - I'm sure Jonah would have brought them to our notice if they'd been around! We were there on a Bank Holiday Monday, Lucy so it was pretty busy. We must be far too law-abiding :- " though perhaps we'd have risked it in places if it had been quieter.
