Congrats Helen and family - it's wonderful being able to see her so soon. One of the many nice things about K9, we all get to join in the excitement of a new member of the family!!!!!!!! :huggles:

Hey Helen!

bet your lot were singing a Barry Manalow song all the way home ehh? "her name was Lola she was a show girl " sorry grew up in a house of women lol.

Bet it was the Kinks' L_O_L_ A, Lo-ho-la!

Feel a bit weepy, seeing those pics. Reminds me so much of our Gem at that age. I'll dig out a photo soon, just try and stop me.

Loads of congratulations - I feel so excited for you.

Well done Helen and family. Such a magical moment choosing a pup. How did you manage to make a choice?? Must admit I thought you were going to choose the lighter brindle girl because of earlier comments. Lola is a beauty.

Some lovely photos there. Thanks for sharing your day with us.

Oooh Helen, what a lovely day you had meeting all Josies family :huggles: OMG how sweet is Lola, I love the markings on Josies sister - Lola will look just like her i think :*

I hate waiting for anything, let alone a new whippet puppy!! Bet you're counting down the days! Keep us updated

What a wonderful day you must have had Helen. All your girls are beautiful. How did Joise react to seeing her mum?

Great name BTW

How did Joise react to seeing her mum?
I think she was a bit overwhelmed actually, a 3 hour drive (bit of a :x towards the end) and then meeting 4 bouncy whippets (w00t) She was foaming at the mouth for a while, but not keen on having a drink of water or anything. Poor girl. And then of course when I left her in the capable hands of a stranger while I went up to see the pups, she went mad Roo-Roo-ing and Ow-Wow-Wow-ing as if to say, "You're going to leave me here, I know you are!"

"her name was Lola she was a show girl "
Bet it was the Kinks' L_O_L_ A, Lo-ho-la!
:b erm, yes - all of the above  Have been since I heard they were born

was that the first time she's seen them since you got her?
We've been back before, last summer when Josie was about 15 weeks old. That time, her Mum turned her over and gave her a wash (w00t) This time she told her off big time... I think she was a bit worried about the puppies upstairs and having a 'strange' female around

Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous...I am soooooooo pleased for you.

Jo xxxxxxx    :D

Yes, they aren't far from Mark, out in the countryside near Manchester, just north of the Peak District  It was just under 200 miles each way for us.

I hope Mr Roberts is going to keep the pictures coming - surely he's capable of atleast that

Yes that's right well behaved :D

You wouldn't be the first rowdy punter I've asked to leave

(Paula, Kieran and dogs can stay ofcourse :p )

but photos every two weeks will be lovely

but photos every two weeks will be lovely
It would be marvellous. That's the only sad thing about living so far away - you miss all the lovely in-between bits where they open their eyes, and grow, and start running about

But if a person had a great and generous friend like Sir Mark posting pics every two weeks, they'd be sooooo happy :- "
