well what an end to an eventfull day, they have just had a mad 10mins where the living room wasnt enough, and they have ventured to the kitchen and now our bedroom, and met flip who is not impressed but would rather run the other way than get to close, and after attacking toes, fingers, toys and of course each other. they had a poop each, and are now in the crate, whippered for 2mins and then settled down :thumbsup:

figers crossed it stays that way for the rest of the night :sweating:

i am of to bed as im shattered as this puppy stuff is actually hard work, not easy like you lot make it out to be :- "

like i said before i am over the moon with star and ruby, and cant believe we now have 2 whippets (w00t)

Awwww I'm in love :wub: :wub: :wub:

We are hoping to get a rescued adult Whippet in the coming weeks but I can still remember the fun we had many years ago with two Jack Russell pups Folk thought we were mad to get two but they were actually easier than a single puppy - no crying out of loneliness at night or if we went out, no chewing (they ate each other instead of the house!) and even the housetraining was easy...tho that may have been because the back door to the garden was always open

The only 'problem' we had was collars - we couldn't leave their collars on overnight because they'd cuddle up together in bed and chew them off each other! :- "

You would have got the 2nd eventually anyway so great to get it all over at once

There is additional things you need to do with litter sisters , I think you need to do things with them seperatly as well as together someone on here will be able to advise you.

keith no iv not cleened there teeth but they have had a chew thing that says it promotes teeth cleening and they have a sheep that aparently flosses there teeth :blink:

but as teeth cleaning was not on the puppy list i never even gave it a thought, so i shall be of to the pet shop to get some puppy tooth paste so they can have them done tonight lol :thumbsup:

we are already thinking up places to take them to look for rabbits lol, paul thinks its somthing that he could do so we will see as they get bigger, might even take a trip down to you keith so you can bestoe some wisdom on them (w00t)

Hi Katie, teeth cleaning, you cant start early enough in my opinion, put each pup seperately on a table or summat, non slip surface, and just generally examine pup from top to toe, get em used to being handled and examined, firmness and kindness is whats needed, im sure you have both
