I have just seen the weather forecast and it's saying heavy snow for us on Saturday. Will the racing still be going ahead if we do get the snow they say is coming? Then again, we got bugger all last time maybe it's our turn for big snow

Latest weather reports are saying no snow for our area but very cold so wrap up warm. :thumbsup:

If the weather (or anything else) does stop us from running, the first place it will be announced is on here so check before you set out. :thumbsup:

How much is the dash? Might put in a bassett!!! :blink:

what distance are lurchers running over ?is there any chance of putting on a long distance race as a one off ?

Distance is 275yds for racing. Under circumstances and with entries being recieved already, organising another racing class with only 24hrs notice for entries makes things awkward. We also net off behind the traps for safety. If you wanted a longer distance trial at the end when we've moved all the traps off the track and cleared the netting then I'm sure we could arrange that. :thumbsup:

Weather is realy bad down hear now, about 5" of snow

and temp is going to drop to around -8ish tonight,

most of the roads are bad and there have been quite a few crash's.

Up to now the racing is still on tomorrow, Rod & Louise worked hard on the track all day yesterday to get it in a good condition and it ran very well last night with no injuries for ten races.

A final decision will be made in the morning and if it does go ahead I'll take additional entries on the day :thumbsup:

Hi there. It's with regret i'm going to have to pull enzo and indigo. We can't get out of the estate without a pair of ice skates. Really gutted but I hope you all have fun and we hope to see you all next year (when there's no blinkin snow!)
