I've found my scanner,i just need to see if it's still working,so watch this space :sweating:

Are the hips scored the same for all breeds? And do they have to be scored by a specialist or your own Vet. I know nothing about this and am really interested

As far as i'm aware,yes they're all scored the same.Your own vet can do the x ray,but it's then to the bva to be scored by specialists. I assume it's still the same now as i'm talking 20 +years ago :unsure:
 
I think it's still the same ....... I had my last GSD scored (5 and 7 = total 12).

She never had a problem and also had a straight back :thumbsup:

Unfortunately I lost her to liver cancer when she was 11 years old :(
