my life tends to revolve around the dogs far more than my kids :b , but this weekend i have taken out the small amount of my money my grandad left to thomas and decided to decorate as i didnt fancy showing

so i have painted alfies room , got a very cute quilt set , wait til you see it!!! you will love it!!! bought carpets for both boys, and paint for their rooms, and taught myself to lay carpet!!! (w00t) might not seem much to some but im proud i have done it :thumbsup:

the off cuts from the rooms are going onto the dogs benches in the kennels, whom have also now got a new chair for sitting in the sun too!!!

i have taken pics so will show my handywork when im finished

also got myself vinyl carpet tiles for my hall as a small black and white very special boy is coming to live with us in about 7 weeks :wub: then accidents are easily wiped away as well as my dads muddy footprints when he walks in and then says "who brought all that mud in here " (w00t) i dont usually like vinyl as the iggies are nuts and i worry about them slipping and sliding but the one i have got is slightly ridged :thumbsup:

I spend every weekend doing the same really Saturdays preparing for Sundays Church services and Sunday at them!...unless I'm on here :- "

Looking forward to getting a new Vicar in post so I can do a little less :thumbsup:

dogs got a huge box of forzen beef bones on fri so defrosting a couple a day for each so compensate but candice ( lamping mad ) has taken them out twice a day and they have the garden to run round in so not too bad really

feels really weird without them all in and out , the only scary moment we had was when baby alice came in and didnt go in her cage whilst the gloss was out!!!!

right i better get on and get this finished!!!

when does the new vicar arrive? bet you are looking forwards to that :thumbsup:

Sounds like you have been really busy.

I'm going dancing tonight. We go every Sunday. Modern Jive classes. They are brilliant, and it gives me an excuse to dress up every week. Mind you, we did spend the morning walking the dogs on the beach, and I have washed and dried Murphy's snuggle bed.

well, so far this weekend:

Friday - went out dancing til 4.30 in the morning (no drinking tho cuz i took the car)

Saturday - lie in b***ered by friend ringing me at 9 to see if i'd remembered that she was bringing a bed round at half 11 - (cheers Sharon :thumbsup: )

got up to accept bed

other friend came round to help me put multigym together so I could photograph it to sell, then take it apart again

dog cuddling til bedtime with a tin of beer

Sunday - moving things around so that the sparks can get to where he needs to be tomorrow

Sadly no doggy walks at all, injured myself on Friday night and having difficulty moving about at all Sorry boys xx

I have had a very successful day - digging out a hedge that I didn't like at the front of the house which then needed to go to the 'tip'. :sweating: :sweating:

At the tip I bought a very good cat basket (£3) for my son's new cat; a sofa bed in really good condition (£15) which was just what I needed for the dogs upstairs; and a great rabbit hutch (£5) for the guinea pigs. :thumbsup: :thumbsup:

I'm always buying stuff from the tip. Got 2 very nice Rotastack hamster homes a little while ago and I haven't even got a hamster. :lol: Might come in handy one day. :- "

Vicar is licensed on Thursday - can't wait - I will no longer have the whole responsibility on my shoulders

Church gave me a lovely basket of flowers today and some money for everything I've done over the last year - which was lovely :b

I was at Pets at Home yesterday and shopping...then at Newcastle today with my son and his friend too ...set off for a Chinese Buffet....but guess what the place was heaving....it was Chinese New Year Celebrations... :lol:

so gave up and went to Frankie and Bennys... :thumbsup:

then when we came back it was straight out after a coffee, for a long walk with the lads and OH. :thumbsup:

Done well there young Tan fer £29 99 :lol: top mumsy :thumbsup: now heres what i have done, put new seal on washing mc door, cleaned the oven, done next doors Newfoundlands glands, cut my two doggies nails, cleaned there teeth, done weekly shop at supermarket, cleaned my car, up the ladders to clean windows, oh lets not forget the veggies fer din dins, ive not even had time to move my bowels, what am i gonna do now, an hr with hetty wainthrop, then at 9, down to the duck n firkin fer a jill of best bitter. eh, hows about that then

Thers no end to this woman, I watched her lay some of the carpet ( had too cos of my wrist), she has done a good job for her first time, but she made me a coffee and was still chatting whilst putting carpet down, oh and making a roast dinner, I had to come home and rest again, she makes me dizzy!! No wonder she is so slim!! I will go round tomorrow and the tiles will be down. :huggles:
