That is true I didn’t! Are those tiles?

Yes, they're above our oven! I was asking on another forum about choosing window fasteners for the replacement windows we're getting, and wondered whether I should match the metal in the fasteners to that in the existing windows, which also match our doorknobs (brass), or coordinate them with the kitchen (brushed chrome). So I'd taken a photo of the cooker and someone asked if they were wee beasties (she's Scottish!) above the cooker. So I took a clearer picture to show her. I say clearer - it's actually pretty rubbish.

But I do like my wee beasties, because they are beautiful, but not twee in a bumble bee/ladybird sort of way.

This seems like I'm betraying the dog forum haha, but the last picture I took was of a cat. I was making a coffee at work and out the window I saw a black cat looking in and meowing so I went out to say hello, he/she jumped onto my lap and we had a cuddle, such a sweet cat! I'm such a dog person all the way but sometimes I meet a cat that makes me want one
