In the park with the boys after work today, and Bloggs found himself a lab x bitch to play with....much running and chasing and lab x bitch telling him to bog off...during which Bloggs ran full tilt into a kid on a swing!

The swing was on a downstroke and hit him smack in the face.

Poor child was distraught - Bloggs on the other hand didn't even notice!

No siree, he just carried on running. (w00t)

When I'd collected them and inspected for damage I went to have a chat with kid and mum, to reassure them that it wasn't their fault and make sure the kid knew that Bloggs was fine (well, as fine as he ever is lol) didn't want the poor nipper feeling guilty about it - not a lot you can do about gravity and a numptish whippet is there?

Been keeping an eye on him all evening and he seems his usual silly self  If it had been Dij he would've been milking it for all it's worth - but then again, He ain't daft enough to run into a swing

hey ill tell daddy you dissing his boy!!!! (w00t) poor bloggs was just further down the queue for brains!!! he makes up for it in looks!!!

(w00t) Cor blimey (w00t) He must be a real tough cookie  :huggles: :D

Sorry, I had to have a little giggle at the story.

They are so stupid, these whippets, sometimes. But so resiliant.

I hope he doesn't have a headache.

It did make me chuckle, although I know that wasn't the point of the mail!

Poor little bloggs!!!

Maddy and I shouldn't be laughing as we have this fun yet to come!!!!!!!!!! :D (w00t) :D

Pleased to report that Bloggs is still fine this morning - not even a bump to show for it!

He really is a daft dog

Glad Bloggs is ok, he really is "Just as Dizzy in Real-life" :))

Do you think it may have actually knocked any sense in Urchin? (No I doubt it somehow, dont you!)

PMSL when I read this! Glad he's ok though.

Oh, dear i am so glad he is OK. The trouble with sighthounds is that they have quite a narrow field of vision and when they run so fast they just cannot see things like cars or swings coming their way. :(

 Is he related to Kane?, I could have been reading about him in your post  runs into trees regularly in the woods and doesn't even notice  o:)

He ran into the grill door yesterday  didn't notice that either

(w00t) had to laugh!! sorry, i know exactly what you are talking about, i have a grey, that stood in the queue far to long for his looks, and forgot to stand in the queue for his brains!! :clown: hope bloggs is ok :)

Fancy allowing kids on swings when there are dogs about !!! (w00t)

Glad Bloggs didn't suffer too much :huggles:
