We are so pleased and proud to announce the arrival of Jasmine's pups. I was lucky to be able to go to Andrew and Julie's and be there for the birth.
The fawn bitch was 5.5oz, then there's a bluey fawn brindle boy 7.5oz, then another bluey fawn brindle boy 6.75oz, then a tiny dark red boy 5.5oz. All pups are doing well. I can't wait to see what colour the bluey fawn goes on the boys, as I know they change. Also, I'm wondering if the red boy will develop any stripes.
Jasmine is a brilliant mum, she looked a bit bewildered at first, and not worried about me handling the pups, but after she had settled down and nursed them, the bond obviously developed, and she wasn't so keen for any to be taken from her - not that I was taking them away of course, just changing her bedding
Angel - looks dark, but has lightened a bit since this picture
Boy1 blue fawn brindle
Boy2 another blue fawn brindle
Boy3 Looked deep chestnut red when born, but so did Angel, and she has lightened up quite a bit
Here's Jasmine and her pups. You can see here that the fawn girl has lightened up a bit, but this pic was taken on my phone, in a hurry, so colour seen may not be exactly right.
After this, we took Jamine and the pups out of the bed, cleaned everything up, and put them all into the bed they were supposed to be in - before Jasmine decided to start whelping earlier than expected!
As you can see Dad Sweep found it all too much, and had to rest (typical male!)
I didn't take and more pictures, as she had settled down to sleep, and I didn't want to bother her, but Julie will take more as time goes on.
I have changed the way I have added the pics, as some people couldn't see them. Hope you can now
