Well, it seemed to be a very long journey today - but sooooo worth it

We made a decision, and decided to have Miguel. He's the one that looks the most like Sweep (out of the boys), and we have fallen for him in a big way.

They are all lovely of course, and Angel is such a sweet little thing - It's a good thing she's a girl, or I think we might have been fighting over her. (w00t) NO CHANCE according to Emma and Leah, she's staying where she is. These pups are going to love children when they grow up, you should have seen how excited they were when the girls came in.

I have a few pics, but my camera played up so I've only got the ones from my phone until I can sort the camera out. It's late too, and we have Gloucester open in the morning - Judy will kill us if we're late :sweating: So here's a couple

Here's Angel   So dainty and pretty

This is our pup   Can't wait to get him home

Lowry and Chestnut Boy together     Lowry's stripes look like they've been drawn on with a ruler

Will try and post more when I have time.

Aww they are looking gorg June

So pleased you've made your decision, Miguel is lovely  Not long until he's home now, and then we need millions of pics (w00t)

So pleased for you June, they are all gorgeous pups. Love the one you have chosen    not long then you can have him home with you - how exciting - can't wait to see more pics :D

It's quite strange - so many people have told us to pick Miguel - I hope you can all spot a fast one

Counting down the days now until we bring him home  I was wondering how Sweep will be with a pup, and it was nice to see all the pups at Gloucester yesterday - Sweep loved them all. I think Miguel's best friend here will be Nibs (Moondust), she's very cheeky, and will be happy to get up to mischief with him.

We've decided against calling him Chip, and may stick with Miguel, but we're deep in thought at the mo.

For about 3 years we've been hoping for a pup from Sweep, and for all of that time we have talked about the pup as "Chip". - but there's a new Chip on the block, Darc and Rob's Chyppe (pronounced Chip). As we will more than likely be training them together at Gloucester, we thought it might cause a bit of confusion, so we've got our thinking caps on, and will come up with something else.

A few more pics to follow

Can't wait to meet him June, I think he should be Miguel until you get him home and then you can see his personality with the others and a name might just pop up. I was thinking Midge might be a good one, it sounds a bit like Miguel, but is easier to yell  Archie was going to be Milo until I picked him up, and he just didn't seem like a Milo at all, it took us days to get him a name and in the end our short list went onto three bits of paper and we let him chose his own, he pulled Archie out with his mouth

Keep thinking Jo - you're coming up with some good ones. I really like Midge, and it fits in with his family theme of "mouse". Of course then we would have to have Mary and Mungo!! Showing my age now - bet you don't know them Jo?????!!

Sadly I do remember the programme June.............It would be a great excuse to get some more puppies ;)

You lucky, lucky thing. I think they're all nice of course. Angel looks so "girlie" compared to the dogs. And luckily you're still alive to be an owner

Well Julie, we've been building, and with dust etc, and the fact that I can't always be bothered to take my boots off before I traipse through to the kitchen to make a cuppa - our lounge carpet has seen better days. Carpets don't last long with us, we buy offcuts and replace them often  This one was a really nice one, and has only been down 18months - it's the only carpet we have downstairs. Eveything else is wood or tiles. Our Bubble & Squeak is allergic to dustmites, and I'm allergic to dogs (w00t) so we thought the less carpets the better. I'm on tablets for the allergy which work really well, and Squeaks is on immunotherapy which I inject every month.

As for the puddles, I'm taking two weeks off work as I have done in the past, and my aim is to have toilet training knocked on the head by the time I go back to work. I've changed my hours at work so I can be home in the morning and be able to give him his dinner before I go (they're ever so understanding at the Council  ) then it isn't long before Steve comes in.

Once he's a good clean boy, we will either replace the carpet, or if we have any money left  we might put more oak flooring down.

I like a nice house, but you can't be houseproud with 6 whippets can you? :teehee:
