Hi

Does ayone know of a nice whippet bitch ( ideally a blue bitch ) to breed from just one litter, and then will be kept as a pet.

But must be small ideally 21 inches or under....

My friend is looking for a wife for his gorgeous black and white whippet dog, and he is small....

I can gurantee a fantastic home.

He dosent really want a pup......

Why does he want to breed when there are so many unwanted whippets needing homes?

Just doesn't seem right to me :(

does seem a bit strange, why would you want a bitch to have a litter from then not keep a pup, surley he should just put his dog to stud?

Do you mean does'nt want a whippet blue bitch pup or do not want to keep a pup out of a litter?

Perhaps you could explain more why he wants a litter as you are asking on a public forum.

more info would be good

Please dont shot the messenger...

He wanted an older bitch, and is going to keep a pup from the litter, he already has people wanting a pup from his dog..... He is the old type small,,, Whippets these days are too big...

The bitch would then be speyed and kept as a pet along with dad and baby.....

There are lots of people on here showing thier litters they have bred and dont see people saying anything to them.....

Thought there mybe a bitch looking for a good home on here he can easily go and buy one.

I work in rescue and am well aware how many dogs needing home !

But i think most of the people on here with litters have thought

about it carefully and use their bitches who they know and know

what makes them worth breeding from.....if that makes sense.

Its a bit different to taking a bitch in just to breed from isn't it,

im not shooting the messanger.....honest....just a bit suprised

at the post :))

Likewise

Certainly not shooting the messenger but I just feel that this hasn't been thought through very well. There are still plenty of people breeding smaller whippets from racing lines, maybe he would be a good home for one of those?
