I've ordered a padded italian greyhound collar from fastdogs-uk.com, so i will see what thats like. I think if there is enough girls from Emma Frames litter in July and i get my long awaited sister for Dolly i will treat them to some kangeroo hide collars from Krislin in Aus. Actually i am going to Austraila on the 02 June for three weeks up to Darwin and then to Cairns. It will be the first time i have left Dolly, but as know she will be fine as she's going to go and stay with Emma :D

Tracy ( a collarholic, but not in the advanced stages of the disease like Wendy is  (w00t) )

HEYYYYY I resemble that remark (w00t)

Wendy

I'm surprised TC didn't include me in that remark as well!!!

I got Fatness a lovely little collar from Terry Ward at the NWA show last Sunday, soft green snakeskin!!!

He much prefers it to the nylon one I first put on him.

What a smashing photo  (is he still with you Caroline????)

I have just got a puppy collar for Lucas from Sue & Terry Ward too - very soft leather and I'm very pleased with it.

And for when he is a big boy (w00t) I've also got a lovely leather collar off e-bay and it is lined with sheepskin :huggles:

but now I am tempted with a roo hide collar too :b

Only had him 2 weeks and he now has 4 collars

This lady made two collars and matching leads for me. One purple and one blue. They are excellent. She makes to your own design if you want.

YES!! (w00t)

I had a lovely family come to see him, Bertha and Django both thought they were the best thing since sliced bread, so I would quite have happily sold them a dog any time  but he wasn't what they were looking for :(

I suppose a home will turn up for him eventually :b but, in the meantime, he goes just about everywhere with me, he's as bold as brass and outgoing, not fazed by anything, has a tantrum when you cut his nails and is called ................................................................................

....

WILLIE!!!

He really does need to go to a pet home though, and one that preferably has another dog and is Whippet experienced because he does have his own ideas about certain things which a Whippet owner will probably be used to!

Willie!! (w00t) Yes you are right he does need to go to a pet home. He sounds like he'll make a brill pet.

 Nothing wrong with Willie as a name my greyhound William came with the name Willie but I didn't fancy standing in the park shouting

WILLIE COME HERE

Thought I might get some strange looks

aw! cute little collars. I'm going to add this thread to FAQ because it's got some good links in if anyone wants to look in the future. (should be easier for people to find in FAQ than doing a search.)

edited to add the link FAQ hardware for dogs
