i just dont know how anyone can do this, I could never part with any of mine... it would be like giving a family member or best friend away.

call me sad but if i go abroad for a break and some sunshine I'm missing mine like mad after the 3rd day.

I guess there could be certain circumstances where they have to rehome, for example they cannot afford to feed him/look after him properly.

so very sad...

Aw poor baby..... it is terrible... I couldn't have a dog knowing I had an escape clause if things didn't turn out ok....

Once I pick a dog up that is it.... a dog is for life as they say :huggles:

i hope this little fella finds a home, sometimes there are genuine reasons to rehome, i have had to do it myself with my 12 week pup after my o/h had a stroke!

didnt want to and it broke my heart, but just didnt have the time to look after him, what with a husband very ill in hospital and 3 kids and a job!

he went back to the breeder who was fantastic and now has a wonderful home.

just spoke to the lady , she bred the dog herself and let him go for personal reasons, good news is she has taken mine and jonnys number to join us at the next bark in the park , she is keeping in touch with the pup and let him go free to good home as home was more important than money :thumbsup:

I didn't mean what I said in a funny way... I know some people have to make that difficult choice but I meant it as if he had just got bored with IYKWIM... sorry if it caused any offence :b

I think everbody understood what you meant. It is always a bit dangerous to say the dog is free to a good home, because a lot of these homes are not so great. On the other side, I was given Mac for free (must be because he is priceless :wub: ) and I never felt that his previous owners would have let just anyone have him.

he couldve been taken by anybody, if i was ever gonna give a dog away i would go through rescue as the have a waiting list of homes all approved just waiting for whippets
