Am I correct in thinking you also have litter of Racing Greyhound by Fireheight Dan . My ,you must be busy :wacko: but I bet the males are more money than the bitches though

This has probably already been asked but have your bitches ever been in the show ring?

If not how can you warrant such high prices are you relying soley on the reputation of the stud dogs??

Just because a dog had X amount of champions in a pedigree doesnt mean you will get all, if any show quality puppies in a litter.

Reputable and knowledgable breeders put years of research into a breeding plan and even the Top breeders in the country are not charging £550.

Goodness me ... I hesitated to post on this thread ... but my puppy who I bought a few weeks ago, from Molly Head, is the 2nd dog I've bought from her (the first one, our oldest, is 3 years old now) and Molly doesn't charge such high prices for her puppies. :blink:

I've never bred a litter but I've bought 4 pups, no price difference in the litters for males and females, and to be honest I can't understand why there would be, especially if it has to do bitches producing pups because unless you have big litters a dog could in theory be more valuable for that anyway, with a stud fee for no outlay and no puppy aftercare :unsure: just my oppinion

Remeber Jo that some people only see ££££££££££££££££££,s when it comes to breeding & selling puppie's,so i suppose they would see a bitch puppy as being more valuable to it's prospective new owner as they would eventually have a nice litter from it & make lots of money!NOT that i'm saying this is the case here,of course.

Thanks for that lovely comment phil I love him to bits and he will have a go at anything when he started racing he wasn't fazed by anything and loves it, Andy is going to give him a proper go at working shortly so if he brings anything back without eating it first I'll let you know :lol:

He is a Lynperry and he's just gone 12 months old a big soft lad he was the only black and white in the litter and this pic is why I got him :wub: :wub: Love at first sight o

I'm sure a black and white pup will come up when you're ready for one :thumbsup: Thats why I said it would be hard waiting until September I wasnt even looking for another when I saw Kane but couldn't help myself
