Hello folks,

I've just posted up on the lurcher gen discussion about exercise requirements, but thought i'd put it up here too to find out what Harry and lisa etc are doing with theirs re: exercise? We're just wanting to check that we're not over exercising stella as we've been giving her two nice long walks a day off lead (not really really long though, it does vary but never longer than an hour at the absolute most). She runs like mad, often chasing after rabbits and playing with other dogs. Are we doing her in?! People have mentioned that it can cause joint problems in the future, or 'bandy legs' by about 2 years. Others have said that you don't need to worry up to about 2 hours a day, and that it's good to build up the strength.

What do you think?

Hi folks, Update on the WhippyPoos....here is Stella at 6 months. She was the smallest bitch of the litter. She comes to just under 21" at the shoulder.
