i find it hard keeping a fawn and a partie and a fawn brindle clean  so god help you with her ann she's got a lot of white aint she

I have a white one called Honey Bun , shes one of those who never gets dirty a little prim and proper girl

Jasper was always dirty as a youngster but now the only problem with him is he wee's up his front legs so generally has yellow legs  good job I don't show him any more. William is a complete and utter pain to keep clean he even looks grubby after a bath because he has a black fleck in his coat and black spots on his skin so he has a grey tinge to his coat

Kanes white bits are always dirty he's a scruff, but Spry is very rarely dirty she doesn't do dirty and will avoid it at all costs :* she is a princess o:)

I must admit Spry always looks pristine... :huggles:

and Anne I love white dogs, I had a complete white dog years ago 'Lady' (well apart from a fawn eyepatch) she was such a lovely dog. I have a real soft spot for them - even though they are hard to keep clean...

yes weve found this out with oliver,i had to bath him one day when it had been pouring down and when we had a evening walk we met a lady with her two dogs well if oliver didnt somersault onto his back and straight into a big muddy puddle   ,hes got orange legs today from running through the grass thats dying off

he as the knack of walking under the boys legs while there midstream too  :b

Frankie looks very sparkly white most of the time. Obviously he gets muddy in winter but after its been towelled off, he's lovely and white again. He obviously is quite a clean white dog. :huggles: A recent critique described him as "his sleek white coat sparkled in the sunshine" :D

I hate seeing grubby white at shows - I've seen some that their white bits look yellow :x No excuse in my mind - hardly a difficult dog to prepare for shows are they  This yellow colour must be absolute ground in grubbiness!

Our Zorro is mainly white with a few fawn patches and little black eye mask and he gets filthy all the time, he is a total nightmare - at the moment he is sporting red patches from the elderberries at the end of the garden :- " he often has pink patches on his head from my daughters lipstick :teehee: and it looks like everyone wipes their food over him  . So yesterday at Richmond I bought him his own special shampoo - hope it gets him clean Sue

i had a white cat once that used to go up the chimney and sit on the soot shelf. Her other favourite hobby was weaving in and out of parked motorbikes - consequently she was generally a black and white cat

She also used to come home regularly stinking of tomcat, even thought she'd been speyed - it was as if she knew she could have all of the fun without any of the responsibility!

Put together this all meant that she had to have a bath at least every 3 days (and I'm not exaggerating here) luckily for me she only ever put up a token protest

Awww lady looks just like my first ever whippet Sheena with the fawn eye patch

I think Spry keeps so clean because she is so licky too forever washing herself and the others :huggles:

I have a white. I wouldn't say he his particularly difficult to keep clean, although I do find that I have to bathe him more than Beau. Not all shampoos get the white back to gleaming but was recommended the following which I have found works brilliantly. This is Groomers Blue Pearl Professional and his white looks white and gleaming. Link below:

 I like some of the tales on here...........look's like im

going to have to get used to scrubbing Kaya, but maybe..............

and just maybe when she grows up a little she may keep

herself a little cleaner.

I forgot to say another regular of her's is pinky purple patches

where she pulls the heads of the fuschia's and lay's on them after

playing :*

Nana is incredibly white (only one black ear), but like Sry she's very licky and even though she loves getting filthy on walks she's normally clean by the time she gets out of the car at home.

Here she is clean

I can promise you she will. I'm afraid Albus comes back looking like he's rolled in mud when he has been out for a run. A good towelling helps when he gets back but as he is not big on licking himself clean, unless Beau does the job for him it is usually a trip into the bath. The shampoo I mentioned is really very good and he has no problems with his skin despite the number of baths he gets.

I'll look forward to seeing the mucky pictures because only then are you a member of the 'elite white club'

 Right id better get some then

Sada is a old hand at mud rolling maybe she can teach Kaya. :)
