When my husband is a away I do let my pups sleep on my bed with me. I'm sure he knows this as I don't like to fall asleep if I'm alone in the house. What a do recommend is the mattress protector as our dogs are lickers, especially on my husbands side I often would find the fitted sheet and pillow wet if doggy had woken up before me - so please the sales person talked me into getting one!
